A few weekends ago I attended one of my good friends wedding in Savannah, Georgia. I didn’t get a ton of time to explore the city because I got in on a Friday afternoon and left on the following Sunday morning but from what I saw I loved. It reminded me a lot of Charleston which is where I lived before I moved to Denver, and where I lived with Will who was the one getting married.
It was such fun filled weekend (as you can see from the photos) with friends I haven’t seen in a while. The wedding was at the Westin so we got to enjoy the pool on the wedding day. We also went to Churchill’s GastroPub and Taphouse for the rehearsal dinner, Top Deck Bar for late night drinks, B&D Burgers, and Savannah Smiles Dueling Piano after the wedding.
This was also my first black tie wedding which was awesome; I love dressing up. I actually wore my senior prom dress—BCBG is timeless. The wedding also had unlimited oysters, well probably not actually unlimited but that was the way I treated it.
